Popular TV actress Shweta Tiwari, who was recently seen as one of the finalists on reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11, has been hospitalized. She was taken to a hospital due to weakness and low blood pressure, reported The Indian Express, the report further added that she will be discharged soon.
Shweta's team shared a statement with the press that read: 'The actress had not managed enough rest with immense travel and adding to it the weather change, she is doing well and will be discharged soon.'
Meanwhile, Shweta's estranged husband Abhinav Kohli dropped a cryptic post reacting to the news, he wished the actress a speedy recovery beside taking a dig at her massive weight loss transformation. ""Mere aur mere ladke ki aapas man milne aur saath ranhe ki haq ki ladai apni jagah hai aur Court main chal rahi hai, par Bhagwan kare Sweta jaldi se tandarust ho jaye. Actr bechaare aapn sabe samne sabse sundar ban ne ke chakkar main, aur aap sabka aur zyaada pyaar paane ke liye, zarrorat se zyaada body banate rehte hai, kam se kam khana khate rehte hain, aur phir ek din unka dil thak jaata hai," he wrote.
On work front, Shweta Tripathi was in Cape Town, South Africa, earlier this year, shooting for the 11th season of Khatron Ke Khiladi. She returned to India in June and was busy promoting the finale of the reality show, won by actor Arjun Bijlani, last week.
The actress has been in the entertainment industry for more than two decades now. She became a household name with the role of 'Prerna Sharma' in Ekta Kapoor's hit show 'Kasautii Zindagi Kay'. She was also the winnner of 'Bigg Boss 4'.
