New Delhi: Ever since its release, Yash starrer 'KGF Chapter 2' has been on a record-breaking spree. The film has been doing exceptionally well in all the languages. On Thursday the film added another feather to its cap.


The Hindi version of 'KGF Chapter 2' surpassed 'Dangal’s box office collection and became the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of all time. 'KGF 2' has earned ₹ 391.65 crore in 21 days beating Dangal’s lifetime collection of ₹387.38 crore. 'KGF 2' is now second to 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' which had earned a whopping ₹510.99 crore in Hindi.

Highest first-day collection of any Hindi film: The Hindi version of 'KGF Chapter 2' had the highest first-day collection of ₹52 crore beating movies like 'War' ( ₹50 crore) and 'Thugs of Hindostan' ( ₹48 crore).


Highest opening weekend for an Indian film: 'KGF Chapter 2' had a four-day opening weekend and it broke the record of 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' by earning ₹552 crore globally, surpassing the ₹526 crore mark of 'Baahubali 2'.


Fastest film to earn ₹200 crore: Hindi version of the film entered the 200-crore club in just five days eclipsing 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' which took six days to achieve the feat.


Record in advance booking: The film sold 2.9M tickets in advance breaking the record of 'Baahubali 2' and Hollywood blockbuster 'Avengers: Endgame'


First Hindi film to earn more than ₹50 crore in one day: 'KGF Chapter 2' is the first Hindi film to earn more than ₹50 on its first day of release. The film earned ₹52 crore on day one becoming the first film to mark this achievement.


Biggest hit from the Kannada film industry: With the film shattering box office records every other day, it is the most successful film ever being made in the Kannada film industry. The film has achieved landmarks that no other film from the Kannada film industry has ever done.


'KGF 2' is now inching towards the humongous total of ₹400 crore. In a few weeks we will know whether the film will defeat 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' and become the highest-grossing Hindi film ever.
