New Delhi: KGF 2 actor Mohan Juneja, who was featured in various humorous roles in South regional cinema, died suddenly at the age of 54. The actor was apparently suffering from a chronic sickness connected to his liver. He died at a private hospital in Bengaluru. Following the news of his passing, the producers of KGF, Hombale Films, conveyed their sympathies to Mohan’s family.
Mohan has apparently appeared in over a hundred films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Hindi throughout the course of his illustrious acting career. The Wall Poster, directed by Shankar Nag, was his acting debut. It was only last year that he starred in the mega-hit KGF: Chapter 2. He also featured in the first part of KGF.
He also appeared in a number of TV episodes, such as Vitara, which helped establish his brand as a familiar face to a broad range of demographics.
Twitter users expressed their condolences for his loss, including Hombale Films, which backed KGF: Chapter 2. The tweet reads, “Our heartfelt Condolences to actor Mohan Juneja’s family, friends & well-wishers. He was one of the best-known faces in Kannada films & our KGF family.”
The actor's death has prompted several actors and filmmakers to post condolences on social media. In Bengalaru, his last rite will be performed this evening.
A Karnataka native and Bengaluru-educated, he grew up in the Tumkar district and studied in the city. Later, he moved to the city and had a family.
