New Delhi: Bollywood diva Katrina Kaif tied the knot with actor Vicky Kaushal on December 9, 2021. The got married in a lavish big fat Indian wedding at Six Senses Fort Barwara, Rajasthan. After their wedding, the couple jetted off to an undisclosed location for their honeymoon. After coming back from their vacation, Katrina Kaif prepared her first halwa after marriage, keeping alive the Indian tradition.


The ‘Sooryavanshi’ actress shared a picture in her Instagram story of her ‘first halwa’ after marriage. While sharing, she wrote, ‘Maine Banaya’. She further added, ‘chaunka chardhana’.




Katrina Kaif also changed her display picture on her Instagram and uploaded a new picture from her wedding with Vicky Kaushal. 




Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal took their nuptial vows in the presence of their loved ones. Their pre-wedding functions included Haldi, Mehndi and Sangeet. The couple has been sharing pictures from their celebrations on their Instagram. Take a look at some of them here:




Katrina Kaif also broke the age-old tradition where brothers carry the chadar during the wedding. The 'Phone Bhoot' actress shared a picture on her Instagram where her sisters can be witnessed carrying the chadar and escorting her to the mandap where Vicky can be seen waiting for his bride. Sharing the post, Katrina wrote, "Growing up, we sisters always protected each other. They are my pillars of strength and we keep each other grounded… May it always stay that way!"



Meanwhile, sharing the happy news of their wedding with their fans, Katrina and Vicky shared a note that read, 'Only love and gratitude in our hearts for everything that brought us to this moment . Seeking all your love and blessings as we begin this new journey together.'



On the professional front, Katrina Kaif will be next seen featuring in 'Tiger 3' opposite Salman Khan, 'Phone Bhoot' alongside Ishaan Khatter and Siddhant Chaturvedi and 'Jee Le Zaraa' alongside Priyanka Chopra and Alia Bhatt.
