Mumbai: Bollywood actor, Kangana Ranaut is on her way to Mumbai despite the warning by Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut. According to media reports, Karni Sena has volunteered to escort her from the airport after she reaches the city. Kangana has left her hometown in Himachal Pradesh and will reach Chandigarh from where she will travel to Mumbai. Amid all the chaos and controversy during the ongoing investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, a war of words began between Ranaut and the Maharashtra government when the former questioned why Mumbai is feeling like Pakistan occupied Kashmir. This happened after Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut openly threatened her to not come back to the city. The ‘Queen’ actress then challenged to stop her from coming back to Mumbai as she declared that she will be travelling back to the city on September 9. She also wrote on her Twitter page, "I can sacrifice my life for women's safety"

Karni Sena is a fringe outfit also known as Shri Rajput Karni Sena (SRKS) which based in Rajasthan. The organisation has derived its name from the goddess Karni Mata, believed to be an incarnation of Durga. The outfit was earlier in headlines for its protest against the film 'Padmaavat' over its depiction of Rajput history.

The actress was recently given Y’ level security by the Centre. This happened after she actress received open threats for the last few days. The ‘Tanu Weds Manu’ actress will be protected by Central para-military personnel when she arrives in Mumbai on September 9. Reportedly, she is also the first Bollywood star to be guarded by the elite commandos of CRPF.

Based on a report of PTI, officials claimed that Kangana Ranaut, who has been given ‘Y’ level security cover by Union Home Ministry is the first Bollywood actor to be guarded by posse of elite commandos of CRPF.
