New Delhi: Kanye West has been courting controversy since his anti-semitic posts on socia media created an uproar among people across the world. After his collaborations with international brands collapsed due to such statements, a new report claimed that Kanye West idolized Adolf Hiter and even wanted to name his 2018 album after him.

According to a Page Six report, four different sources have confirmed to the media that Kanye suggested that his eighth album be called 'Hitler'. Kanye eventually did not go ahead with the idea and named it 'Ye'.

As per the same report, a business executive who has earlier worked with Kanye told CNN that Kanye had an 'obsession' with Hitler and that he even spoke openly about reading 'Mein Kampf'.

CNN quoted the business executive as saying, "Kanye West allegedly wanted to name his 2018 album after Hitler by saying how incredib;e it was that he was able to acculumate so much power and talk about all the great things he and the Nazi Party achieved for the German people."

Kanye's recent anti-Semitic posts on social media even lost him billion-dollar deal with brands such as Gap and Adidas.

According to ANI, Kanye even showed up univited to another sneaker company's headquarters situated in Los Angeles' Mahattan Beach right after Adidas severed ties with the rapper over his anti-semitic remarks.

"It was also reported Skechers issued a statement clarifying that they hadn't done any deal with the rapper, instead, he was immediately turned away."

A TMZ report which made the Skechers revelation quoted a spokesperson from the company who said, " (West) arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers' corporate offices Los Angeles."

"Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his part from the building after a brief conversation."

"Skechers is not considering and has no intention of working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech," Skechers' statement continued.

"Again, West showed up unannounced and uninvited to Skechers corporate offices."

After Adidas cut ties with Kanye West and his Yeezy collection, West lost his billionaire status. Adidas issued a statement on Tuesday in response to West's string of anti-Seminitic remarks, saying, "Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech."

"Ye's recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company's values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness," the company added.

Kanye West legally changed his name from Kanye to Ye and had been collaborating with Adidas on his Yeezy show line since 2013.
