Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently took to her Instagram to criticize the ongoing promotions of Alia Bhatt’s Gangubai Kathiawadi’s character by kids. Ahead of the film’s release, a video of a little girl enacting one of Alia’s dialogues from the film has gone viral.

The video has irked Kangana who took to Instagram Stories to slam the parents of the child who allow their children to do such things.
Mentioning the video clip, Kangana continued, “should this child imitate a sex worker with a beedi in her mouth and mouth crude and obscene dialogues? Look at her body language, is it okay to sexualize her at this age ? There are hundreds of other children who are being used similarly @SMRITIIRANIOFFICIAL”

In a lengthy post, Kangana also went on to slam India's first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. Kangana wrote, "Government should take action against all parents who are sexualising under age children for money to promote biopic of a famous prostitute and pimp who supplied girls to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru and rose to power...Request @smritiiraniofficial Ji Minister of women and child development, please look in to it"

Directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Gangubai Kathiawadi which is slated to release on February 25 is based on Gangubai Harjivandas who was sold into prostitution. She went on to become the madame of the red-light district in Kamatipura. The film also stars Ajay Devgn, Shantanu Maheshwari, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, and Seema Pahwa in pivotal roles.

Meanwhile, Kangana will next be seen in ‘Dhaakad’ co-starring Arjun Rampal and Divya Dutta. She also has ‘Tejas’ in her kitty where she will be essaying the role of an Air Force pilot.
