The resemblance of Arvind Swami as MGR is striking. MG Ramachandran served as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu for 10 years. He was also an actor.

Other than Kangana and Arvind Swami, ‘Thalaivi’ also stars Jisshu Sengupta, Prakash Raj, Bhagyashree and others. The biopic was slated to release last year but got delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. ‘Thalaivi’ will release in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Meanwhile, apart from ‘Thalaivi’, the ‘Queen’ actress also has ‘Tejas’ and ‘Dhaakad’ in her kitty.
