New Delhi: After almost two years, Kangana Ranaut has again started her feud with singer and actor Diljit Dosanjh on Twitter by taking a jibe on him. For the unversed, the two celebs had a war of words on Twitter in 2020.
On Tuesday, Kangana shared a tweet from the food delivery app Swiggy on Twitter and Instagram stories and tagged Diljit on it. The original tweet had pictures of pulses with the caption ‘pulse aa gayi’. She tagged Diljit in her tweet and wrote ‘just saying’. She added a Khalistan sticker on Instagram Stories, with the word crossed out. She added, “Diljit Dosanjh ji pols aagai pols (‘police aa gayi’ in Punjabi twang).”
In another post she wrote, “All those who supported Khalistanis remember next number tumhara hai, pols aa chuki hai, yeh woh waqt nahi hai jab koi bhi kuch bhi karta tha, desh ke saath gaddari ya tukde karne ki koshish ab mehengi padegi (Remember next up in you. The police is here. One cannot do whatever they wish to anymore. Betraying the country or wanting to destroy it will cost you big time).”
Her posts came after Punjab Police’s crackdown on Khalistani sympathiser Amritpal Singh and his aides.
Diljit has not yet responded to her Twitter and Instagram posts.
Kangana and Diljit’s Twitter war in 2020 started after in a tweet, the actress shared wrong information about an old woman at the farmers’ protest. She wrongly identified he as Bilkis, who was the face of the Shaheen Bagh protest. Diljit then shared a video of the elderly Sikh woman to clear Kangana's doubt.
In response, Kangana called him ‘Karan Johar ke paltu’, and the Twitter war continued for days.
On the work front, Kangana recently wrapped the filming of Chandramukhi 2. The film's prequel, released in 2005, starred superstars Rajanikanth and Jyothika Saravanan. In 'Chandramukhi 2', Kangana plays the role of a renowned dancer in the king's court known for her breathtaking beauty.
Besides this, the actor will also be seen in her directorial 'Emergency', where she will be seen essaying former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and in 'Tejas', where she essays the role of an Indian Air Force pilot. She also has 'Noti Binodini' in the pipeline.
