Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut's personal bodyguard Kumar Hegde has been accused of raping a Mumbai makeup artist several times on the pretext of marriage. After a medical examination and statement by the victim, an FIR has been registered against Kumar Hegde on Wednesday at DN Nagar police station in Mumbai.
The victim spoke to ABP News about the alleged misdeeds of accused Kumar Hegde. Narrating her ordeal the victim, said that Hegde met her in 2013 and in June last year he proposed to her. After she accepted the proposal, the accused visited the victim’s flat often and forcibly established a physical relationship with her on multiple occasions.
Now, the victim's friend Divya Kotian has made more revelations about Kumar Hegde in a conversation with ABP News.
Divya told ABP News, “Kumar Hegde used to have unnatural sex with my friend. He used to get drugged heavily before sex and treat my friend in a very aggressive manner during sex. ” Divya further revealed that her friend is very innocent and she does not know much about unnatural sex, hence, she kept falling prey to it.
Divya further told, “My friend wanted to commit suicide rather than lodge a police complaint against Kumar Hegde. My friend was living with suicidal thoughts after she came to know about Hegde's realities. When she told me about this, I explained to her that the wrongdoer should be punished and she should not think of punishing herself in any way.”
Divya Kotian said that she took her victim friend to the DN Nagar police station to lodge a complaint against Kumar Hegde.
Divya also told that the victim has known Kumar Hegde for 8-9 years and last year, the latter proposed to her for marriage. Kumar was in a live-in relationship with her friend.
Divya, quoting her friend (victim), told ABP News that Kumar was not only interested in girls but also in boys and often used to have sex with them too. Divya said, “Kumar had told these things to my friend once or twice. My friend thought that it was Kumar’s way of making a joke and she did not pay attention. But then I came to know such things from others as well.”
“Kumar Hegde used to fool girls and have sex with them by promising them for marriage. It was his nature to cheat girls for sex. He also took money not only from my friend but from other girls also. Kumar Hegde has taken great advantage of being the bodyguard of Kangana Ranaut and that is how he used to bluff innocent girls”, revealed Divya.
Divya said that Kumar Hegde went to Karnataka faking his mother's death, but she came to know from common friends that he had gone there to get married. Divya said that her victim friend constantly tried to reach out to Kumar Hegde through calls and messages since he left, but Kumar's phone is switched off.
Divya said that her friend has been receiving threatening calls even though she has not been able to speak to Kumar.
Kangana Ranaut has not yet responded on this whole issue and was not available when we tried to approach her.
