New Delhi: Kamal Haasan's upcoming film Vikram's trailer will be launched at the Cannes Film Festival 2022. The team of 'Vikram' is leaving no stone unturned for its promotions.
Besides the trailer of 'Vikram', its NFT( Non-Fungible Token) will also be launched on 18th May at the same venue. The Cannes International Film Festival will take place from May 17 to May 28 in Cannes, France. Kamal Haasan's step will be a one-of-a-kind moment that brings NFTs to Tamil film industry.
Raaj Kamal Film International announced this step on their official social media handle.
Taking to their official Twitter handle, the production house wrote, "Glad to announce the launch of Vikram NFTs and Trailer at Cannes Film festival in association with Vistaverse and Lotus Meta Entertainment!"
They also shared the official statement which said, "Fantico will launch its first metaverse experience in VistaVerse in partnership with Raaj Kamal Films International's much-awaited movie, Vikram starring Kamal Haasan, Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil, music by Anirudh, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by Kamal Haasan..."
"VistaVerse, the soon to be launched metaverse by Fantico, will also offer Vikram NFTs which will be a ticket to the experience and additionally offer many more utilities to the buyers like access to unique artwork of characters, digital avatars, props, posters, mystery boxes, film....The limited-edition Vikram NFTs will be launched on 18th May, 2022 at Cannes Film Festival among the global film fraternity," it added.
