The Delhi Police has apprehended two terror accused, including a juvenile, in connection with the May 9 RPG attack at Punjab Police headquarters in Mohali on Friday. The juvenile was also tasked with "eliminating" actor Salman Khan by the Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria syndicate, police said, PTI reported.
Official Twitter account of Delhi Police tweeted, "The Special Cell of Delhi Police has arrested the accused of RPG attack on the Punjab Police Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali. The team has also arrested the accused of another terrorist incident in Shahabad, Kurukshetra IED recovery case."
The intelligence centre of the Punjab Police was attacked with a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) on May 9.
The Lawrence Bishnoi and Jaggu Bhagwanpuria syndicate tasked the juvenile along with Deepak Surakpur (presently absconding) and Monu Dagar (in jail) with "eliminating" actor Salman Khan, police stated, reports PTI.
In addition to the minor, the Special Cell of the Delhi Police has detained another man, Arshdeep Singh, in connection with the August 4 IED recovery in Haryana, according to the police.
The young person revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi assigned him, Surakhpur, and Dagar the responsibility of getting rid of Salman Khan. Later, Kandowalia was chosen as their main target in place of Khan. Other incidents which have been disclosed by the duo are being verified, police said.
"It was determined throughout the inquiry that the attack was the result of a plot by the Babbar Khalsa International (BKI), with support from the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan and local gangsters": According to a senior police officer, PTI reported.
According to police, the assailants were the juvenile attacker, a resident of Faizabad, Uttar Pradesh, and Deepak, a resident of Surakhpur, Haryana.

Additionally, it was determined that Harvinder Singh, alias Rinda, a gangster-turned-ISI stooge, was responsible for planning the assault.
The officer claimed that Lakhbir Singh Landa, a Canadian-based gangster-turned-terrorist, had collaborated with Rinda in sharing people, logistics, and resources, news agency PTI reported.
They claimed that Rinda's name had already come up in relation to the grenade attack on the Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) headquarters in Nawanshahr following the earlier this year's capture of four alleged terrorists with ties to Pakistan in Haryana's Karnal.
The officer added that the juvenile was also wanted in connection with the killings of gangster Rana Kandowalia outside a private hospital in Amritsar on August 4 of last year and builder Sanjay Biyani on April 5 in Nanded, Maharashtra.
Kandowalia was the primary shooter for the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the officer said.
Police said Arshdeep Singh, a resident of Tarn Taran in Punjab, was sought in connection with the recovery of an IED in Kurukshetra and a case of a similar nature in Tarn Taran, as well as charges involving the sale of drugs and weapons, PTI reported.
The connection between Rinda and Landa has been made public with the kidnapping of the minor and the arrest of Singh. Arshdeep was being handled by Landa while Rinda was handling the child, authorities stated, PTI reported.
