New Delhi: Bollywood actress Athiya Shetty tied the knot with Indian cricketer K.L.Rahul in an intimate wedding ceremony. The celebrity wedding festivities took place amid close friends and relatives in a much guarded way at Athiya's father and actor Suniel Shetty's farmhouse in Khandala.
The wedding festivities have been undergoing much security with the guests being requested to follow the no-phone policy and enjoy the wedding to the fullest. Amid all the hullaboo around Athiya and Rahul's wedding, a picture of the bride being applied haldi is going viral on social media.
The picture, which is being claimed to be from the haldi ceremony of Athiya Shetty, shows wedding attendees applying haldi to the actress. However, the picture in question is from a shot of Athiya's film 'Motichoor Chaknachoor'.
'Motichoor Chaknachoor', which released in 2019, also stars Nawazuddin Siddiqui as the lead and tells the story of an NRI businessman, who while trying to find a wife back home in Bhopal, meets his much younger neighbour, Anita Awasthi. Anita wants to marry someone settled abroad, what ensues is a series of humorous events peppered with drama.
