New Delhi: Rumours of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor getting married have taken over the media. As of now, Alia and Ranbir have not commented on the news, however Ila Arun, a friend and co-star of Soni Razdan, went to Instagram to write a message of congratulations to Soni.
Ila have congratulated the soon-to-be mother-in-law as the couple awaits an official announcement from them.
Sharing an adorable image of herself with Soni, Ila captioned it “Hamari sony sasu ma ban raheein hai. congratulations Mahesh and Dear sony. GodBless Aliya and Ranbeer.”
Ila and Soni have a strong relationship. Last year, Soni Razdan and Ila Arun featured together in Netflix's ‘Call My Agent’. They also appeared in movies like Sheeshay Ka Ghar, Trikal, and Mandi.
The post is timed to coincide with the growing excitement around Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's upcoming D Day, which are expected to last four days at the RK residence. There will be Mehendi, Sangeet, and eventually the wedding on April 15.
While the pair has kept their wedding plans under wraps, Ranbir's Krishna Raj house and the Kapoor family's RK Studio have already been decked up in a dazzling display of lights.
On Monday, a car was sighted at Ranbir's residence bearing Sabyasachi ensembles for the bride and groom, perhaps for the ceremony.
During the shooting of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra in 2017, Alia and Ranbir started dating. A scene in Varanasi was the last shot before they wrapped up production.
