New Delhi: Kubbra Sait remembered how she was warned that Bollywood was the ‘worst place’ one could possibly be in when she initially entered the entertainment business. After making her debut in the film ‘Ready’, starring Salman Khan and Asin, Kubbra Sait went on to appear in a number of other films, including ‘Sultan’ and ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’, to mention a few.
The actress recently revealed that when she first entered the profession, she was told that she should leave immediately. While speaking to CNBC, Kubbra said, “When I came to this industry, I was told that this is the worst place to be in and that I should just pack off and go. But now when I look back, I could not have been in a more noble profession. It lets you tell stories and live other people’s lives. It’s the most empathetic place you can be in. And people recognise you for that, for the experience you are having. I think it’s a great place to be in.”
The actress went on to say that she had been warned that this industry is full of monsters and demons, but Kubbra had always seen it as a city of dreams. She also acknowledged that the entertainment industry can be a nightmare for certain people. When this occurs, Sait advises, that the greatest thing to do is to reflect on one's path.
Kubbra Sait rose to prominence after her performance as the transgender character Kuckoo in the critically acclaimed series ‘Sacred Games’ on Netflix.
