New Delhi: Hrithik Roshan who turns a year older today, has much to celebrate this birthday. Hrithik Roshan always keeps it real on and offscreen and continues to remain one of the most loved icons on social media thanks to his sprinkles of humour, dollops of wisdom and a real and relatable take on everyday life. Unquestionably amongst the one of finest actors and is now all set to leave audiences enthralled with ‘Fighter’, India’s first aerial action entertainer.

Always the one to choose quality over quantity, the actor explained how he has only done films that he actually wanted to and has never sacrificed a great script. This motivation and wisdom pour into the actor’s personal life too, as he now looks at his birthday as an opportunity to spend time doing the things that fulfill him.

In an interview with HT, he was asked if birthdays still excite him. Hrithik said to the publication, “I used to see it (his birthday) as a fun day but then somewhere along the way it started becoming a chore, a duty, must celebrate, must party....Birthdays came with a slight sense of discomfort. But today, I see it as an opportunity to spend time doing things that would fulfil me. I may still do the exact same things, but now it’s out of my own desire and sense of fulfillment rather than a self-imposed mandate.”

When asked about his biggest learning in these 49 years, the actor responded that “Peace is not the pinnacle that one should aspire to reach, it is not high up there at the top of the pyramid which we hope to reach someday after all the work is done. Or hope to reach it at the end of the day’s work. It is in fact the very base and foundation of everything and every action in every moment. We need to start at peace. The very state of being at the beginning should be peace. That’s the practice now."

After unanimously winning praise and accolades for his performance in ‘Vikram Vedha’, Hrithik Roshan now breaks new ground in 2023 with ‘Fighter’ which marks his first collaboration with Deepika Padukone.
