New Delhi: Qasim Chacha played by Harish Roy is a well-remembered character from the KGF 2. He played an elderly Muslim in the KGF sequels. Actor Harish Roy has recently revealed that he has thyroid cancer and that it has progressed to the fourth stage.
Harish has claimed that he has been battling cancer for three years. He had sought to keep his ailment a secret from the public and the media. Now, the KGF actor claims that he is in desperate need of financial assistance for treatment. It has been stated that the monthly pill cost is Rs 3 lakh.
In the course of his therapy for cancer, he has already had surgery on his lungs; nonetheless, further treatment is required in order to eradicate the cancerous growth. However, he has exhausted all of his financial resources in the course of his cancer treatment. He is making an appeal to any potential benefactors to come forward and help him afford the remaining portion of his therapy.
While filming KGF, he had neck swelling, which he hid with a long beard. According to News18, Harish said, “Situations can bestow greatness upon you or take things away from you. There is no escaping fate. I’ve been suffering from cancer for three years. There is a reason I had a long beard when performing in KGF. to cover up the swelling in my neck that this disease has created. I put off my surgery because I didn’t have any money at first. I waited till the movies were released. Now that I’m at the fourth stage, things are becoming worse.”
