New Delhi: ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' is doing well at the Indian box office. The animated-film’s success has given a massive lift to the box office, giving joy to many people in the industry. The film has gone out to break multiple records including the record for the biggest opening weekend for an animated film in India and trends are working as strong as any other superhero film. 


The film has grossed double the lifetime collections of the prequel  ‘Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse’ in the opening weekend itself. ‘Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse’ has the highest opening weekend collection for an animated film in India.


Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse grossed an estimated  $120.5 million over the weekend in the US, making it the second-biggest opening of 2023.

‘Spiderman : Across the Spider-Verse’ is a superhero animated film featuring the Marvel Comics character Miles Morales. The film has been directed by Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers and Justin K. Thompson, from a screenplay written by Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and David David Callaham. 


The film released on June 2, 2023 across the world after having been delayed from an original April 2022 date due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
