Oscars 2024: Christopher Nolan-directorial 'Oppenheimer' was the leading winner at the 96th Academy Awards with seven wins, including Best Picture, director, actor, and supporting actor.
The film not only bagged the Best Picture award but also won in major categories including Christoper Nolan for Best Director, Cillian Murphy Best Actor, and Robert Downy Jr bagging Best Supporting Actor.
Apart from this, the film also won an Oscar for Best Original Score, cinematography, and film editing.
Emma Stone bagged an Oscar for Best Actress for her portrayal of Bella Baxter in Yorgos Lanthimos directorial ‘Poor Things’. She defeated Lily Gladstone, who was considered as the best contender for the Best Actress win.
Da'Vine Joy Randolph bagged Best Supporting Actress for her outstanding performance in the film ‘The Holdovers,’ where she portrayed the character of Mary Lamb.
