New Delhi: On Monday, the Los Angeles-based boy band the Jonas Brothers get honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Nick, Kevin, and Joe's spouses and kids all came out to share in the joy with them. Priyanka Chopra, Nick's wife, and the couple's daughter, Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, were also in attendance to show their support for Nick.
Nick was really proud of his daughter for the way she handled herself in the spotlight. “She was super chill the whole time. I was very impressed. It was wonderful to have her and my wife out. My mother-in-law was here too, in addition to my parents,” Nick told Access Hollywood after the event.
Nick's speech on stage captivated the audience with his loving tributes to his family, especially his wife and daughter. Priyanka Chopra was sitting in the first row of the crowd with her daughter Malti Marie on her lap when Nick Jonas gave his speech.
Nick said, “Hi babe, I can’t wait to come back here with you in 15 years and embarrass you in front of your friends”. The singer also posted a video of the memorable occasion on Instagram with the description, "Looking forward to it” along with a laughing icon.
Maltie Marie was born last year through surrogacy to Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas. Later, the couple disclosed that she was born prematurely soon and spent more than 100 days in the NICU.
Recently, Priyanka Chopra said comments about Malti were inappropriate in an interview with British Vogue. She said that while she has grown accustomed to hearing negative things said about her, it still hurts when others criticise her kid.
