Ace choreographer and filmmaker, Farah Khan, who is currently seen as a judge on Comedy Show, has tested COVID positive recently despite being double vaccinated. On wednesday, Farah took to her Insta story to share the news of herself contracting the virus.



Earlier a report in ETimes TV mentioned thatFarah Khan has informed everyone on the sets of her comedy show that she has tested COVID positive and has asked all to take necessary precautions. Singer Mika Singh has replaced her on the show for future episodes. She won’t be returning to the sets for a few days now.


On a related note, Farah Khan had recently shot for a few other reality shows besides her comedy show and may have contracted virus then. She was seen reuniting with her friend Shilpa Shetty Kundra for dance reality show Super Dancer 4 on Monday (August 30). She also shot a special episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 with Amitabh Bachchan.


Farah had even shared a video and pics from the sets of Super Dancer.



For the uninitiated, Farah Khan is fully vaccinated and had resumed work for Comedy Show a month ago.


Meanwhile, India on Wednesday witnessed surge in new Covid cases with 41,965 fresh coronavirus infections were reported in the last 24 hours, against Tuesday's 30,941 cases. At the same time the country created a record in vaccination with 1.33 crore people inoculated in a single day.


With this, the total tally rose to 3,28,10,845, according to Union Health Ministry's data released on Wednesday.


Out of total fresh Covid infections reported on Tuesday, 19,622 of them were from Kerala alone, the highest among the states.
