New Delhi: After Alia Bhatt's mimicry by content creator Chandni exploded on the internet, fans have been wanting to know more about the mimicry artist. Recently, after Alia Bhatt mentioned Chandni and her mimicry as 'outstanding' in an interview, the attention around Chandni's act has increased fourfold. In a recent interaction with Chandni, ABP Uncut spoke to the content creator about her journey.
Chandni shared how she has been working on creating content on social media since 2016 and it is only now that she has started earning 'little money'. Chandni also spoke about how surreal the experience was when Alia Bhatt mentioned her in an interview.
Chandni also spoke about what keeps her going, her favourite personas that she impersonates, like Marwari Bahu and Marwari mother. She also shared that her parents have become more understanding of her journey and career path now that she has become noticed and a popular face in the media.
Chandni also regularly posts dance videos besides sharing content in Marwari. Her Alia Bhatt impersonations, however, have gathered her the most traction.
Another popular TV character she portrays is Daya Ben from 'Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah'. Chandni studied law in college and took up a marketing job for a month, which she later left to pursue a full-time career in content creation.
In the interview with ABP Uncut, Chandni also shared how she developed a crush on Shantanu Maheshwari after seeing him in 'Gangubai Kathiawadi'. She even asked on camera when the two were going on a tea date together.
