New Delhi: Emraan Hashmi is presently in the middle of filming his forthcoming film ‘Ground Zero’. Emraan has landed in Kashmir to film a scene for his next movie. On September 19th, there were rumours that stone throwers attacked Emraan Hashmi and his crew in Pahalgam, Kashmir. He reportedly suffered some injuries. A report further said that an FIR had been filed at the Pahalgam police station. It turns out, however, that the rumors were baseless; Emraan is perfectly healthy.
The actor dispelled the rumors on Twitter, saying that the people of Kashmir have been nothing but welcoming to him and his crew. Emraan sent out the following tweet on Tuesday morning: "The people of Kashmir have been very warm and welcoming, it has been an absolute joy shooting in Srinagar and Pahalgam. The news of me being injured in a stone pelting incident is inaccurate."
Emraan, on the other hand, did not confirm nor deny that the event occurred with him and his team.
Tejas Deoskar is the director of the film Ground Zero, which also stars Sai Tamhankar and Zoya Hussain in the leading roles. In addition to Ground Zero, Emraan has some other projects such as Tiger 3 and Selfiee. The upcoming holiday of Eid will mark the debut of Tiger 3, a film that has Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif in the leading roles.
While all is going on, Selfiee, which also stars Akshay Kumar, is said to be receiving an online streaming release. However, there is no confirmation regarding this. Selfiee, directed by Raj Mehta, is an adaptation of the Malayalam movie Driving Licence. The film also has Nushratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty in major roles, respectively.
