New Delhi: Brahmastra, starring the real-life pair Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, has been a massive financial success. Trade publications suggest that Brahmastra had another successful opening day at the box office on Monday, September 19. The movie has already made it through Monday, so it should have no trouble with the rest of the week.

On its eleventh day in theaters, the fantasy adventure epic ‘Brahmastra’, directed by Ayan Mukerji, stayed steady, earning Rs 4.75 crore, bringing its total India net receipts to Rs 212.40 crore, as reported by Pinkvilla.

After its second weekend, the big-budget entertainer reportedly made Rs 207.90 crore; of that total, Rs 186.50 crore came from the film's original Hindi release, while Rs 21.40 crore came from the film's dubbed version in South Indian languages, where it was presented by RRR and Baahubali series director SS Rajamouli.

Brahmastra was released in theaters on September 9, and its producers have confirmed that the film made a total of Rs 360 crore in the first ten days after it was released. This is in addition to the Rs 75 crore that it made on the first day of its release, as well as the enormous amount of Rs 225 crore that it made on its first weekend.

Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, the first film of the trilogy, premiered to much acclaim. The movie was shown in five different languages. It is a fantasy film about a naive man and his unique relationship with fire. The film's leads, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were supported by Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, and Mouni Roy. There are currently widespread rumours that production on both Part 2 and Part 3 will begin at the same time.

Earlier, actress Kangana Ranaut questioned Brahmastra's success by claiming that the film's true budget is as high as Rs 650 crore.

As speculation has swirled over the amount of money spent on the Astraverse movie, Ranbir Kapoor has broken his silence to insist that the stated estimates are incorrect.
