New Delhi: Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia have officially announced their engagement. On Wednesday, Eijaz released photographs of his sweet proposal. In the captions accompanying the photographs, Eijaz wrote, "Baby, if we keep waiting for the right time, It’s never gonna be, I promise you my best, Will you marry me? She said, "yes."
According to a source close to the pair quoted by Hindustan Times, “Eijaz took Pavvitra by surprise, popping the question. She had no idea about this. It all happened on Monday evening. They are indeed engaged and wedding is on cards. Pavvitra doesn’t wish to talk about the engagement at all, despite putting the picture. She even told her team that she is not giving any quotes or comments about it.”

Fans and celebrities alike swarmed to the post to send their congratulations to Eijaz and Pavitra. Their ‘Bigg Boss 14’ housemates Jasmin Bhasin and Aly Goni dropped comments. Jasmin penned, "We need party!" While, Aly sent a slew of heart-eyed emojis.
Pavitra also responded to the post, writing, “May the lord protect us from evil eye. Let there be love love and love."
For the unversed, both of them competed on season 14 of Bigg Boss. Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia became friends in the reality show and eventually, the two became quite close and began dating soon after the season ended.
