New Delhi: Diwali is here and people are marking the festival with great zeal and enthusiasm. The victory of 'light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance' is symbolised through this festival. From Anupam Kher to South Superstar Arun Vijay, many celebrities have sent their heartfelt wishes to the nation on this auspicious occasion. as the entire country is swept up in the holiday spirit.


Madhuri Dixit posted a video on her Instagram account in which she first lights a diya followed by wishing everyone a "Happy Diwali." In the video, she wore a yellow saree accessorised with traditional jewellery to enhance her stunning appearance.






Priyanka Chopra Jonas too wished everyone peace, light and love writing, "Happy Diwali Everyone! Wishing peace light and love in abundance for all." Anupam Kher also posted a motion poster of himself on Instagram wishing everyone a happy and prosperous Diwali.






Amitabh Bachchan, Manoj Bajpayee, and many others took to Twitter and wished everyone a Happy and prosperous Diwali. Fans were excited on seeing these posts on Twitter and they too wished them back.


Along with everyone else, R Madhavan wrote, "Wish each and every one of you a very HAPPY AND WONDERFUL DIWALI and a magnificent Festival season ahead. May God bless all of you with his love, best of his blessing and peace and prosperity."

With a special dance video featuring his daughter Sitara, Mahesh Babu also wished his fans a happy Diwali. The star kid is seen performing Kuchipudi in a half saree. The actor wrote, "Wishing everyone a happy Diwali! Love, light, and happiness always."
