Manish Malhotra hosted a Diwali bash on Sunday and Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai were among the numerous guests present. While fans eagerly anticipated red carpet appearances, the event remained private, shielded from cameras. Netizens had their curiosity at the peak about the happenings at the party, and a recent video claimed to capture a moment where Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai hugged each other before his departure.


In a video circulated on social media, Salman was observed hugging a woman dressed in red attire at the event. Since Aishwarya had also donned an elaborate red ensemble for the occasion, speculation quickly arose on the internet that Salman's hug was for Aishwarya. However, it was later clarified that the woman in the video was not Aishwarya but Sana Pancholi, the sister of Sooraj Pancholi.






Talking about Aishwarya's oufit, she was seen in a gorgeous cherry red sharara set with zari borders all along it. She paired the outfit with a red and pink dupatta. and had a cmall golden clutch in her carrying.






Salman and Aishwarya have found themselves at the same Bollywood gatherings on multiple occasions. Nevertheless, they have maintained a distance from each other ever since their breakup in the early 2000s. Aishwarya has moved forward from their past relationship and is now happily married to Abhishek Bachchan, with whom she shares a daughter named Aaradhya Bachchan. While Aishwarya and Salman do not engage in conversation, Abhishek shares an amicable relationship with Salman.


Meanwhile, on the work front Salman Khan is gearing up for the release of 'Tiger 3' this Diwali. The film marks the return of Salman and Katrina Kaif and features Emraan Hashmi in a negative role, marking his debut in the spy thriller universe. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is reported to have a story penned by Aditya Chopra. 


On the other hand, Aishwarya's last appearance was in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan 2,' and she has not yet announced her next project.
