New Delhi: With the third wave of Covid showing signs of receding, this Friday marks the first theatrical releases of this year. While Rajkummar Rao starrer Badhaai Do along with Death on The Nile and Khiladi will try to pull the audience back to cinema halls on February 11, Deepika Padukone starrer Gehraiyaan is set for its OTT premiere.
Gehraiyaan
Gehraiyaan, starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa will be released on Amazon Prime. The teaser of the movie has already piqued the interest of many viewers.
Gehraiyaan is directed by Shakun Batra describing a modern-day metropolitan take on relationships and their complexity. The movie is produced by Hiroo Yash Johar, Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Shakun Batra.
Badhai Do
Badhai Do is a movie directed by Harshvardhan Kulkarni. Bhumi Pednekar made her film debut in Rajkummar Rao's Badhaai Do. This film introduced a novel notion, such as lavender marriage. Badhaai Do will be released in cinemas on February 11th.
Badhaai Do, a Badhaai Ho spin-off promises the same humorous journey of discovering hilarity in unexpected places as Badhaai Ho. The concept of the movie is about a twisted marriage between a man and a woman in order to conceal their respective homosexualities. Despite the fact that it has been delayed due to COVID, the comedy-drama is now ready for a theatrical release.
Khiladi
The release date for the Hindi version of the film, Khiladi. The film is featuring Telugu actor Ravi Teja who will be seen in a double role. Teja will be in an entirely new persona in Ramesh Varma's action picture.
In addition to Teja, Khiladi has also cast Meenakshi Chaudhary and Dimple Hayati in key roles.
