New Delhi: Television actors Debina Bonnerjee and Gurmeet Choudhary, who recently became proud parents of a baby girl, are set to welcome their second child soon.  


The actress took to Instagram to make an announcement about the same. Debina shared a picture of herself hugging Gurmeet along with their daughter, holding an ultrasound image, and wrote, “Few decisions are divinely timed and nothing can change that…this is one such blessing..coming soon to complete us.” 



The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Lianna, in April this year. Debina posted a video of her daughter’s rice ceremony on Monday and wrote, “So today was #lianna ‘s rice ceremony … ( in Bengali #mukhebhaat ) she dressed up as a little princess and sat on her maternal uncle’s lap ( my brother, her mama) and tasted her first food (solid) A tradition that is followed in our culture for little babies as a stepping stone for growing up.. we love you my darling @lianna_choudhary … we are there to not only to protect you but help you understand traditions and culture where required. Debina has been open about her struggle to conceive. She revealed how she coped with endometriosis and that they had struggled to conceive a baby because of her medical condition for a very long time. She had recently opened up about the complications she faced during her first baby during an interview with Bombay Times. “The fight to become a mother lasted five years. I failed five times during the process, which included three IUIs and two IVFs. I also tried alternative therapies, like acupuncture and flower therapy. I would cry all the time because I held myself responsible for the failure,” Debina was quoted as saying by the Bombay Times.
