New Delhi: South superstar Chiranjeevi recently posed for a picture with some Indian Navy Officers at the airport in Goa and this refreshed some of his old memories. Going down the memory lane to his days as a Naval Cadet for NCC, he shared his experiences on Twitter last Sunday, as India celebrated Navy Day. He posted the picture that he clicked with the Navy Officers and along with it, he also gave a glimpse of himself in the NCC uniform.


Sharing the pictures, he tweeted, "When a bunch of Naval officers approached me for a picture at Goa airport last week, It took me down memory lane effortlessly.. to my days as a Naval Cadet.. when I had enlisted for the NCC! Delightfully nostalgic it was!"






The picture was well-liked by all his fans and they began to share their comments and views on the pictures. One of his fans commented, "You are a Disciplined Soldier", while another one said, "Sir congratulations Good work sir great human you Sir reply me, sir"


Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year award at the 53rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) which was held in Goa. On receiving the award, he said, "I thank IFFI and the government of India for giving me this wonderful award and great honour. Few recognitions are special, and this award is one such. "


Sharing his childhood days, he told that he was reborn as Chiranjeevi in the industry.


He said, "I was born into a middle-class family, to humble parents. My fame, name, charisma, all privileges, the invaluable love and affection of my fans and everything, I owe everything to the film industry. I was born as Konidela Siva Shankara Vara Prasad to my parents and I was re-born as Chiranjeevi in the film industry"


At the event, Chiranjeevi also thanked the Telugu film community and his supporters for supporting him even after he took a ten-year gap from acting. He said, "I will continue acting all my life. I can never quit acting because I’m a slave to the love of Telugu cinema fans"


Chiranjeevi has worked in more than 150 films spanning over four decades. He was last seen in the movie Godfather alongside Salman Khan and Nayanthara.
