New Delhi: Actress Chitrashi Rawat, who made her debut appearing in Shah Rukh Khan's sports movie ‘Chak De India’, tied the knot with longtime partner Dhruvaditya Bhagwanani on February 4 in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. Her wedding marked the return of the Chak De India gang.
On Friday, photographs from the festivities surrounding their wedding were shared online. The pair seemed to be having a fantastic time, judging by the images.
The actors from Chak De! India got together again for Chitrashi's wedding, and the event was well documented. Celebrities such as Shilpa Shukla, Vidya Malvade, Tanya Abrol, Shubhi Mehta, Gunjan Lakhani, Rani Dispotta, and Seema Azmi were seen having a blast at the wedding.
Photos and videos of Chitrashi and Dhruvaditya's wedding celebrations have been posted on social media with the hashtags #Druchi and #DruchiKiShaadi by the couple's relatives and friends.
Television stars Delnaaz Irani, Sayantani Ghosh and Moonmoon Banerjee were also in attendance. Delnaaz posted a series of photos from the first pre-wedding festivities and wrote, "#druchikishaadi ka pehla din and the celebrations have started in full swing with Haldi & Mehendi ceremony! It’s safe to say that we’ve danced alot and we’ll be dancing a lot tonight too! There’s nothing like attending your veere’s wedding, lots of love & madness to the happy couple!"
Chitrashi's film career took off with her breakthrough performance as Komal Chautala in ‘Chak De India’, and she went on to star in films like ‘Fashion’, ‘Luck’, and ‘Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya’. While Dhruvaditya has also appeared in the films like ‘Flight’ and ‘The Grey’.
For the unversed, they met on the set of ‘Prem Mayee’ and hit it off instantly, which eventually blossomed into love. More than ten years after they first started dating, on February 4, 2023, they got married.
