New Delhi: 'Fighter' has been doing great business at the box office. As Hrithik Roshan continues to receive appreciation for the film and his performance, the megastar has already moved past the initial euphoria to focus on 'WAR 2'. In a recent interaction with Film Companion, Hrithik spoke about the several things on his mind including the accurate prediction of box office, the pressure of being a star and more.
When asked about the pressure of being the megastar and the pressure to deliver a film that does a Rs. 800 cr business, Hrithik Roshan stated that he would fly as an actor if he did not have the burden to be a star but stardom is also a responsibilty.
Hrithik Roshan also called 'Stardom' his fuel; something that fills the tank and keeps him going. " I am all for using it well. Its pressure, a lot of pressure and adrenaline at the same time."
Defining why he calls stardom a pressure, Hrithik told Anupama Chopra that he had been unable to do something in a film because he was aware that he had to uphold teh 'star factor' in the film.
When Chopra asked him about his body shots and the face shots, Hrithik dealt with the question quite seriously to say that he had studied his face over years. Sharing that even before 'Kaho Na Pyaar Hai' came out, Hrithik "spent 10 years studying my face because it is my product. Call it vanity or whatever, but if you want to be recognised in that category of actors who can back films like this, then you have to know your face, your light."
“ I have spent years perfecting it.” Hrtithik Roshan added.
The megstar added that he may have delivered his heart in a shot, delivered his lines well but then he has to fix his face even when he does not want to redo a shot. Talking about the skill and the burden of being an actor, Hrithik Roshan shared some interesting insights in the interview.
