Who is Abdu Rozik?
Abdu Rozik is a popular Tajikistan singer-influencer based in Dubai. He made history as the youngest individual to get a 10-year golden visa to the UAE. He came from a humble family of gardeners in Tajikistan.
Abdu Rozik's singing career
Abdu embarked on his musical journey at a young age. One of his challenges was dealing with bullying at school because of his short stature. Abdu started humming and creating songs in an effort to escape the negative influences in his life. His most famous song is 'Ohi Dili Zor', which came out in 2019. Some of his other famous songs are 'Chaki Chaki Boron' and 'Modar'.
Tajik blogger-rapper Baron (Behruz) was the one who first noticed Abdu's skill. He asked Abdu's dad to allow him to pursue music professionally. After receiving his father's approval, Abdu and Baron moved to Dubai.
Abdu's 2021 YouTube video of himself performing Arijit Singh's 'Enna Sona' made him an internet sensation.
Abdu Rozik’s height
Abdu seems much younger than his real age. The 20-year-old singer is 94 centimetres tall (3 feet). He suffered from a "growth hormone deficiency." At five years old, he was also diagnosed with rickets and eventually stopped developing. His family allegedly couldn't afford his treatment.
Abdu has been in a few MMA fights. Russian MMA fighter and TikToker Hasbulla (who shares Abdu's illness) challenged him to a battle in May 2021. The match could not go forward because the Russian Dwarf Athletic Association termed it 'unethical'.
Abdu Rozik in Bigg Boss 16
Abdu won over fans on ‘Bigg Boss 16’ with his charming and kind personality. In the show, he became close friends with MC Stan, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Shiv Thakare, and Sajid Khan, also known as ‘Mandali’. Abdu Rozik's ED controversy
Bigg Boss 16' contestants Abdu Rozik and Shiv Thakare were called in by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) for questioning in connection with a money laundering case.
The money laundering case gained attention when it was revealed that Ali Asghar Shirazi’s company, Hustlers' Hospitality Pvt Ltd, had provided funding to several start-ups, including Shiv Thakare's Thakare Chai and Snacks and Abdu Rozik's Burgiir fast-food venture. It's reported that the funds for these investments were derived from illegal narcotics activities. Following the revelation, both Shiv and Abdu terminated their contracts with Shirazi's company.
Earlier this year, Abdu inaugurated the Habibi restaurant by acquiring the spacious old East 59th location at Victoria Gate in Leeds.
