New Delhi: Sara Ali Khan is celebrating her 29th birthday today (August 12). The actress made her Bollywood debut with the romantic drama ‘Kedarnath’, which was set against the terrible background of the Uttarakhand floods of 2013. Following that, her movies keep generating buzz. Aside from her career as an actress, Sara has goal is to build a family with a daughter and then a boy.


In an old podcast with YouTuber Beer Biceps, Sara Ali Khan was asked if she wants a family. She said, “Ofcourse. Two kids. First a daughter for sure. First a daughter then a son.”


Elaboring the age at which she wants her first child, Sara told, “ I think like 32, first kid and 35, second kid.”


She chuckled, “I mean I'll get to 32 hopefully and then the kid also hopefully.”


In the same conversation, Sara revealed what is bothersome about her as a girlfriend. She shared, “I can go from like meet me four times a week to I can't talk to you this month and work comes first. I'm not shy to admit that sometimes people think that they're taking a back seat in my life.”

A year ago, Sara made an appearance on ‘Desi Vibes with Shehnaaz Gill’, the program hosted by Shehnaaz Gill, in which Sara reveals her future ambitions. The actress recently revealed some ideas for the names she plans to give her future children.


In keeping with her usual openness, Sara revealed the names she has chosen for her children. Shehnaaz asked, "Aap apne bacho ka naam kya rakhoge?" during the candid talk. Sara quickly answered, "Qudsiya (for daughter) and Hidmath (for son)."






Sara Ali Khan’s Upcoming Projects


Sara Ali Khan's next film is 'Metro... In Dino', in which she co-stars with Aditya Roy Kapur.  The film reportedly stars Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkona Sensharma, Ali Fazal and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The release date for this film directed by Anurag Basu is set for September 13, 2024.


Further rumours have it that she is doing an action flick starring Ayushmann Khurrana, however the project has yet to be named.
