During the promotions of Bharat in 2019, Salman Khan was in his usual playful mood, adding a dose of humour to every conversation. One such moment that grabbed attention was when he was asked about an alternate career choice for his co-star Katrina Kaif.

When Salman Khan said Katrina should get married and have kids

After a brief pause, and with a nudge from the host mentioning Katrina’s interest in producing, Salman quipped, “She should get married and produce children.”

Katrina, quick to clarify, responded with a smile, saying the question was about professional careers like being a doctor or engineer. “If I was not an actor what profession would I be, he’s asking. Would I be a doctor, would I be an engineer?" she corrected.

Salman, never missing a chance to add his signature wit, cheekily remarked that marriage and raising kids also require a lot of work.

 

Salman on alternate career choices for SRK and Aamir

When asked about an alternate career for Shah Rukh Khan, Salman confidently stated that SRK would excel in anything he chose to do. As for Aamir Khan, Salman humorously admitted he had no idea what Aamir would pursue but was sure that whatever it was, he would succeed.

Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif have been one of Bollywood’s most adored on-screen pairs, delivering hits like Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya? (2005), Partner (2007), and the blockbuster Tiger franchise (Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai), making their chemistry iconic. Off-screen, their bond has been just as cherished, with Salman often being credited as Katrina’s mentor during her early days in the industry.

Their connection, however, has never been limited to professional grounds. 

On the work front, Katrina was last seen in Merry Christmas, while Salman Khan is gearing up for his Eid release, Sikandar.
