New Delhi: Yesterday (August 1) Taapsee Pannu celebrated her 36th birthday. On this momentous occasion, the actress posted a hilarious video. The actress feels it's important to be able to laugh at oneself, so she hosted a birthday roast for her friends and admirers. They roasted Taapsee mercilessly, causing everyone to burst out laughing. Taapsee showed that she is unique by having the guts to roast herself. Her boyfriend Mathias Boe and sister were also present in the audience and the former gave a beautiful compliment to her.
Taapsee Pannu celebrated her birthday with a comedy show with guests such as Abish Mathew, Angad Ranyal, Abhilash Thapliyal and Gurleen Pannu.
She looked stunning in a black-and-white indo-western saree. Sharing the video, Taapsee wrote, “Because probably the need of the hour today is to learn to take a joke on yourself, I thought why not start at home. What better way to turn a year maturer :)”.
Her boyfriend can be heard saying in the video, "Meri girlfriend sabse sundar hai (my girlfriend is the most beautiful)."
Taapsee has been dating the former badminton player for almost a decade, but they have kept their romance away from social media.
During the roast event, was asked which celebrity or politician she would most want to roast. In response, Abish abruptly exits the scene, bidding farewell and leaving the actress in a state of uncontrollable laughter. Subsequently, the actor said, “Bahar police toh nahi aayi na?”
This year, Taapsee will co-star with Shah Rukh Khan in the social comedy ‘Dunki’, directed by Rajkumar Hirani. In addition to Dunki, Taapsee will next be featured in the follow-up to the romantic thriller Haseen Dillruba, starring Vikrant Massey and Sunny Kaushal.
