New Delhi: Actress and celebrity influencer Uorfi Javed has spoken out against statements made by former actress Sana Khan on women's fashion choices. The controversy began when Sana discussed her transition from actress to wife in a podcast interview with actress Rubina Dilaik. While talking about how women should dress, she made a comparison between her husband Mufti Anas Saiyad and other men, claiming that some of them "allow" their wives to wear provocative clothing.


Many were quick to criticise Sana's remarks, arguing that her views on women's attire. Uorfi Javed, who is famous for her fearless and outspoken style choices, reshared a post on Instagram that addressed Sana's opinions. She strongly criticised her by writing, "Bringing other women down, considering yourself superior because of your new 'clothing choices'. Your choices don't make you superior from the ones who make different choices.”


Disapproving Sana’s viewpoint, Uorfi said, “Other women can shame you too for your choices but we ain't doing that. Lady if you can wear whatever you want and don't want to be judged, other women can demand that too."

Sana Khan’s Comment


Sana Khan said she pitied those men who let their wives to wear short clothes. During the podcast with Rubina Dilaik, she said, “Main aise mardo ko dekhti hoon toh mujhe ajeeb lagta hai ki tum kaise apni biwion ko aise chuntu-muntu kapde pehena kar bahar leke chale jate ho? And you feel proud about it, and you say ‘My wife is looking so hot’, and ek random ladka bhi aapki biwi ko bol raha hai ki she is looking so hot, especially jab wo chote kapde pehen rahi hai (When I see such men, I find it amazing that how do you take your wives out wearing such short clothes? And you feel proud about it, and you say 'My wife is looking so hot', and a random boy is also telling your wife that she is looking so hot, especially when she is wearing short clothes).”


Sana Khan revealed her wish to devote herself to spirituality and assisting humanity following her marriage to Mufti Anas Saiyad in 2020 and subsequent announcement that she would be leaving the entertainment profession.
