Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh welcomed a baby girl on Sunday, September 8. Deepika was admitted to the hospital just a day earlier, around 5:00 p.m. The actor and Ujjala Padukone, her mother, were brought to the Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai.

Earlier, Ranveer and Deepika went to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai to seek blessings. They celebrated the first day of Ganesh Chaturthi by visiting the sacred temple. Deepika and Ranveer were both wore traditional outfits. Ranveer chose an off-white kurta pyjama. On the other hand, Deepika donned an exquisite emerald green saree. On X (previously known as Twitter), a debate has been triggered by Deepika's choice to not wear a mangalsutra, a traditional neckpiece worn by married women.
