New Delhi: Actor Gurucharan Singh, renowned for his portrayal of Roshan Singh Sodhi in the popular show ‘Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’, has been missing for nearly a week. His missing report left his family and colleagues deeply concerned. Amidst growing speculation, reports have suggested that Gurucharan Singh may have been struggling with depression. However, actor Samay Shah, who played his on-screen son Gogi in TMKOC, recently addressed these concerns.
In an interview with the Indian Express, Samay Shah shared insights into his last conversation with Gurucharan Singh, which occurred approximately four to five months ago. According to Samay, “I spoke with him 4 to 5 months back over the phone. The conversation went on for an hour or more and he kept motivating me, we spoke about running with dreams. I was missing him a lot, especially as we were not working together anymore and we were reminiscing.”
Samay refuted depression claims and said, “He (Gurucharan Singh) was happy when we spoke. I still cannot believe that people are saying he was depressed. He is not that kind of a person, but then you cannot predict how human consciousness works sometimes.”
Samay expressed his desire to reunite with Gurucharan soon and offered prayers for his safety and happiness wherever he may be.
