New Delhi: After the Hindi release of 'Thangalaan' on August 30, actor Chiyaan Vikram is now promoting the film across the northern region. During one of the recent interviews, Vikram shared a unique fan story that ended up with calling the police. The actor was taken aback by an odd and disturbing meeting he had with two teenage fans in Theni while filming ‘Pithamagan’.

In a podcast with BeerBiceps, Chiyaan Vikram recounted the craziest fan interaction. He shared, “When I was doing 'Pithamagan' (2003), we were shooting in Theni. There was this room where I went to sleep. Then around 6:00 clock, I woke up and I just went to the washroom. I open the door and I see two boys. There's one guy who was like 15 or 16 years old and another guy was around 12. They were sleeping under the sink and I closed the door. I was like how did they get in there because there's just a small exhaust hole? There's no window nothing.”

Reopening the door, Vikram saw a message written in poor Tamil, which expressed fans’ apologies. Their message reads: “We are sorry. We don't mean to harm you in any way. We are fans and just wanted to spend some time with you.”

He further elaborated on the incident, “I called my team and said I don't understand what was happening. I said listen don't call the cops. But the hotel guys call the cops. The cops said there's no way these guys could have come because there's hardly any pipe outside. So, they must be professional thieves because we found a lot of money in their pockets.”

Even though it was a creepy situation, Vikram was moved by their commitment. He concluded, “That's very eerie but I think they just love me so much that they wanted to just be in that space.”
