New Delhi: Vijay Varma and Tamannaah Bhatia are the new couple in Bollywood and are often spotted together. They were recently spotted in Mumbai as they walked hand-in-hand for a date night. The photos and videos of the two are doing the rounds on the internet.
The couple could be seen smiling and looking at each other as they held hands and walked. The two were seen going back home in the same car as well.
Tamannaah and Vijay were casually dressed for the outing. While the actress wore a white T-Shirt paired with black jeans, Vijay was seen in a sweatshirt, blue jeans paired with sneakers.
The couple started dating after they met on the sets of 'Lust Stories 2'. They starred together in filmmaker Sujoy Ghosh's short.
In an interview with GQ India, Vijay confirmed their relationship, stating, "I think it's fairly understood now that we are dating each other."
"I am happy and madly in love with her. I call this my 'I've ended my villain era and gotten into the romance era' phase of life,” he told GQ.
Tamannaah, too, had previously spoken about her connection with Vijay during an interview with Film Companion. She emphasized that attraction and feelings are personal and unrelated to someone's profession. She described Vijay as someone she looks up to, with whom she bonded organically. Tamannaah expressed deep care for him, referring to him as her "happy place."
“He is someone I really look up to. He is someone with whom I bonded very very organically. He is someone who came to me with all his guard down. Then, it became very easy for me to put all my guard down,” she had told Film Companion.
On the work front, Vijay's latest release is 'Kaalkoot' with Shweta Tripathi.
The actor will be next seen in the thriller based on the book 'The Devotion of Suspect X' starring Kareena Kapoor Khan. He will be Homi Adjania's 'Murder Mubarak'.
Tamannaah will be seen in the Rajinikanth-starrer 'Jailer' and 'Vedaa'.
