New Delhi: Sunny Deol is back to his stardom era with the enormous success of his most recent film, Gadar 2. The project, a follow-up to the enduring movie Gadar: Ek Prem Katha, which debuted in 2001, has now established itself as one of Hindi cinema's most notable recent triumphs. Deol's career, which had hit a hard period, has been significantly revitalised by the enormous success of Gadar 2.
Sunny Deol recently spoke at length about his relationship with the film industry and the enormous success of his period action movie in an interview with Zoom. He also talked openly about his connection with the industry and his long-running tiff with Shah Rukh Khan, his Darr co-star.
It's interesting to note that Sunny Deol told Zoom that he and Darr co-star Shah Rukh Khan are getting along just fine. The Jawan actor contacted him to wish him luck on the success of Gadar 2, according to the action superstar of Bollywood, who also affirmed that they had long since buried the hatchet. Later, King Khan saw the movie and absolutely loved it.
Talking about it, Sunny said, "Shah Rukh Khan had seen the film. Before that, he had called me and wished me well. He was so happy, and he told me 'I'm so happy, you genuinely deserve it' and I said Thank You. Then I spoke to his wife and his son. And he said tonight we are going to be watching this film. And after that, he had seen it, and I think that is when he tweeted. It was so beautiful. Many times I've also called him up and we shared our thoughts on certain things."
"Whatever the past problems were, I would say that everything gets better with time and we go on. That's how life ought to be," said Sunny Deol in reference to his memorable argument with Shah Rukh Khan.
