New Delhi: Sukesh Chandrashekhar, imprisoned in Delhi's Mandoli Jail, has sent a heartfelt letter to Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez in which he draws parallels between their romance and the sacred Hindu epic, the Ramayana. According to Sukesh, who calls Jacqueline his "Sita" and himself "Ram," his upcoming release represents a "homecoming" similar to Ram's return from exile.

The letter begins with Sukesh Chandrashekhar wishing Jacqueline Fernandez a ‘Happy Diwali’. The letter is dated October 31, 2024. Speaking about his legal processes, he says that there are just two bails left and calls it the start of his "homecoming."

He wrote, "Baby our love story is nothing lesser than our great, Ramayan, because just like my Lord Rama who returned from Vanavas with his Sita, I am also returning from this short Vanavas, for my Sita, Jacqueline to win her back all over again and no Ravan can stop this from happening. All the blessing of Lord Rama is with me and my love for you, it's now our time, baby."

Sukesh expressed his intention to spend Diwali with Jacqueline next year, saying, "Baby as now my time for homecoming is almost there, I just can't wait to be together and celebrate this beautiful festival of lights together next year, this will be my last Diwali, here without you in the Lanka, my baby girl."
