New Delhi: Sukesh Chandrashekhar, alleged conman lodged in a Delhi jail over a Rs. 200 cr extortion case, has gifted a yacht to actor Jacqueline Fernandez on her birthday. The yacht has been named 'Lady Jacqueline' and is appearently the same boat which Sukesh alleges that Jacqueline had selected in 2021. The alleged conman wrote a letter from jail addressed to several media houses wherin he mentioned abot the yacht and other giveaways on Fernandez' birthday.

Sukesh also wrote that the yacht was fully legitimate and all dues and taxes had been paid for it. As Jacqueline is also involved in animal welfare, Sukesh also shared that a pet hospital, which he had gifted to the actress in Bengaluru, was almost completed.


Sukesh also added that he had pledged a donation of Rs. 15 cr for the 'welfare of the landslide victims of Wayanad', Kerala and also pledged 300 homes for the victims of the landslide tragedy in Wayanad. 


Chandrashekhar also added that he had deployed a complete team to work with the Government of Kerala and execute his pledged suggestion. 


Sukesh also stood true to his pledge and announced 100 iPhone 15 Pri for making the song 'Yimmy Yimmy', a super hit. He thanked fans and people for doing the same. He awarded 100 iPhone 15 Pro to some 100 lucky winners randomly selected from YouTube by his team.


Sukesh Chandrashekar was arrested on May 29, 2015, under Sections 420( cheating) and 120-B( criminal conspiracy) of the Indian Penal Code(IPC), and some sections of the Prize Chits and Money Circulation Schemes(Banning) At and the Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors( in Financial Establishments) Act.


He was granted bail last month by the Bombay High Court but continues to be in jail owing to multiple cases registered against him.


Sukesh had allegedly used illegal money to buy gifts for Jacqueline, as per the ED charge sheet filed in 2022. 


On the other hand, Nora Fatehi was also questioned in connection with the Rs. 200 cr money laundering case involving Sukesh Chandrashekhar.
