New Delhi: Sonam Kapoor is a style diva par excellence. The actor-model often treats fans with pictures of herself in classy attires from various events on social media. Recently, the ‘Raanjhanaa’ actor shared that she dressed in her mother Sunita Kapoor's three-decade-old wardrobe for a recent occasion. On Tuesday, Sonam posted images of herself wearing Sunita's ghar chola on Instagram.

Sonam shared pictures of herself wearing a matching saree and a patterned maroon top. While posing for the camera, she wore jewelry as well. Sonam shared the pictures with a caption that said, “Wearing my mom’s 35-year-old ghar chola.. Thanks, mama for lending me this sari and blouse, love raiding your closet.”

Sonam’s fans were in awe of her look. A user on Instagram wrote, "Kudos for showing that outfits can be repeated, even if decades old." Another commented, “Repeating outfits, even if your mother's. Sonam recently went to her friends' and photographer Apeksha Maker and Acash Awchat's wedding reception.

Sonam never fails to astound her admirers with her sense of style. She wore a pleated skirt, a corset belt, and an embellished velvet jacket to the Paris Haute Couture Week last month. She added a striking pair of boots and a black purse to complete her ensemble.

Sonam most recently starred in Shome Makhija's film Blind. In significant roles were Purab Kohli, Vinay Pathak, and Lillete Dubey. Sonam made her acting comeback with the movie following a maternity leave. Vayu was born in August 2022 to Sonam. Sonam has also committed to two more projects.

Sonam Kapoor Comeback reason

In an interaction with news agency ANI, Sonam Kapoor shared her new approach to work. She said, "I took two years off as I was pregnant and then wanted to take some time off with my son. Two years are not done yet and I have signed onto two projects - one show and one film that I will start working on. It will release in another year, because that is how films work. Then my idea is to do two pieces of content every year, that's it, not more because I want to spend time with my family as well."
