Sonakshi Sinha wedding: Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha and her longtime boyfriend Zaheer Iqbal are reportedly getting married on June 23. Though the duo have remained tight-lipped about the wedding details, the theme for their wedding has been revealed.

According to the Times of India, the couple's wedding will take place at the luxurious Bastian – At the Top in Mumbai, where close friends and family members will gather for an intimate and grand affair. As per the report, the dress code for the event is "festive and formal," ensuring a stylish and vibrant celebration. 


The couple will reportedly have a Sangeet ceremony on June 19 in Mumbai. Their Sangeet ceremony will be a close-knit affair. The wedding ceremony will be held on the morning of June 23, followed by a lavish reception in the evening.

According to the report, the unique wedding invitation, designed to resemble a magazine cover, playfully confirms the rumours about their nuptials with the tagline, "the rumors are true." 


Planning for the wedding has been underway for some time, with the family waiting until after the recent elections to focus on the preparations. Sonakshi’s father, actor and MP Shatrughan Sinha, won his seat from Asansol, West Bengal, making the wedding a double celebration for the family. 


Sohail and Zaheer, who have been dating for a long time now, have also worked together in the 2022 film ‘Double XL’ also starring Huma Qureshi.

Meanwhile, Sonakshi’s father Shatrughan Sinha reacted to the wedding report and said that he is not aware of this development. “She hasn't told me anything about it. Main bhi utna hi jaanta hu jitna main media maine padha hai (I know only as much as I can from the media I read). If and when she takes me into confidence, my wife and I will give the couple my blessings. We wish her happiness always,” he told Times Now. 


He further said that he is waiting to be informed by Sonakshi about the wedding. "I am being asked by people close to me why I am not aware of this and the media is aware of it. All I can say is, aaj kal ke bachche consent nahin lete maap-baap ke, sirf inform karte hain (these days, children don't seek permission from parents, they just inform).
