New Delhi: Fans and followers are in awe of the breathtaking wedding photos of Naga Chaitanya and Sobhita Dhulipala. Known for their graceful and charming personalities, the pair got married on December 4 at Hyderabad's Annapurna Studios in a traditional Telugu ceremony. The ceremony was a magnificent celebration with many famous people and dignitaries in attendance.

Sobhita Dhulipala’s Madurai Temple-Inspired Mehendi Design

Sobhita Dhulipala's elaborate Mehendi design was a highlight of the wedding because of the cultural and historical weight it held. The design was influenced by the holy art of the world-renowned Madurai Temple, according to an insider.

As per Pinkvilla, a source shared, “The mehendi design created for Sobhita was significantly inspired by the Madurai Temple. The motifs were drawn from Madurai Meenakshi Amman and Sundareswara, particularly the Utsava Murthi. The pattern on the back of the hand was inspired by the beautifully adorned Padhakkam worn by Goddess Meenakshi."

According to the source, “The design on the inner palm captured the outer pattern of Sundareswara’s ring, also known as the Prabha Mandala, symbolizing the circle of light. Together, these elements represented the divine union of masculine and feminine energies—Lord Shiva and Shakti—signifying their eternal bond through the travails of life and their reunion in every yuga.”
