New Delhi: The family of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala recently celebrated a heartwarming ceremony—the annaprashan (first food-tasting) of their baby boy, Shubhdeep. After Sidhu Moosewala's death in 2022, the arrival of baby Shubhdeep has given his grieving parents a reason to hope for a future and the continuation of their family. The baby, who was born in March of this year, had his public debut just a few days ago, and now a video documenting the happy occasion has gone viral.

The touching video shows Charan Kaur, mother of Sidhu Moosewala, holding her son as he sits on a wooden stool, surrounded by loved ones who have come to celebrate the occasion. Symbolic of blessings for health and wealth, the ritual involves the traditional practice of feeding rice and applying chandan on the baby's face. Balkaur Singh, Sidhu's father, is also seen in the video, seated next to his wife, joining the family in celebrating the joyous occasion.

There is a lovely, celebratory vibe in the room thanks to the rangoli and the platter of sweets. The video was shared on social media by a fan page.
