New Delhi: Actor-turned-politician Shatrughan Sinha sent a lengthy birthday message to his daughter Sonakshi Sinha. He expressed his admiration for her work and included her latest web series, ‘Dahaad’, in his letter. There are also some throwback photographs that will warm your heart. Shatrughan Sinha, a doting father, took to Twitter earlier today to post a photo album and touching message in honour of his daughter's 36th birthday. He wrote, “We are all so very proud of your strength & everything."


Shatrughan Sinha shared some beautiful throwback pics on Twitter and wrote, "How beautiful times have gone by. On this great and auspicious day loads of love for the apple of our eye, for another wonderful year of fun, entertainment and great achievements."


Mentioning ‘Dahaad’, he wrote, "We are all so very proud of your strength & everything. You have accomplished, especially the milestone you have created with 'Dahaad' which is the talk of the town today & one of the most wonderful films which add another feather to your body of work, recently released on amazing Amazon Prime Video."


Shatrughan Sinha included a series of photos from Sonakshi's early life in his tweet. The old photos perfectly capture the depth of father-daughter love.



The first picture was a still from the film ‘Dahaad’. Another one had a little Sonakshi and her father striking a pose. He also included a family photo with Poonam Sinha and brothers Luv and Kush.


Sonakshi recently shared her upcoming birthday plans to ANI, saying, "For the last 5-6 years I have been travelling on my birthday... I like to take a break and like to spend time with a few close friends of mine. I have been following this ritual for the past several years. I am currently in the middle of a shoot...so this birthday I can go only close by. I might go to Alibaug or Lonavala. However, I have not decided yet."


Sonakshi will be seen in the forthcoming thriller ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’, starring Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff.
