Every year on his birthday, Shah Rukh Khan upholds a cherished tradition that has become almost ritualistic: stepping out onto the balcony of his iconic Mumbai residence, Mannat, to wave to the throngs of fans gathered outside, hoping to catch a glimpse of the “Badshah of Bollywood.”

This heartwarming gesture, shared on special occasions like Eid and his birthday, often includes his youngest son, AbRam, as they greet and acknowledge the cheering crowd. It’s a moment fans look forward to every year.

However, this year on his 59th birthday, SRK chose not to make the anticipated appearance, leaving fans curious about the change. While he didn’t explain his absence, he made sure his fans felt appreciated. SRK attended a fan event hosted by his fan clubs in Mumbai’s Bandra, ensuring their love and dedication didn’t go unnoticed.

Later in the evening, he shared a photo on social media, striking his iconic arms-outstretched pose against a backdrop of fans at the event. Dressed in a violet T-shirt, beanie, and sunglasses, SRK expressed his gratitude, writing, “Thank you for coming over and making my evening special… my love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love."

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh’s wife, Gauri Khan, offered a glimpse into his birthday celebration with their family and close friends. On Saturday evening, she posted a photo on Instagram from the celebration at Mannat. The picture captures SRK cutting his birthday cake, with Gauri and Suhana Khan on either side of him. Sharing the moment, Gauri wrote that it was a “memorable evening” with loved ones in attendance.
